About a week ago, we reported that “Pushing Daisies” creator Bryan Fuller was working on a modern-day reboot of the classic “The Munsters” television series.

Entertainment Weekly has now learned that Fuller is in talks with Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) to star as Marilyn, the normal-looking cousin. “Are you kidding me?,” he said. “Kristen would be perfect.”

Fuller continued: “This version has teeth and isn’t afraid to use them. For example, the story begins when young Eddie unexpectedly manifests as a werewolf on a scout camping trip and inadvertently eats two of his fellow scouts.”

He added that Eddie’s pet dragon will also be featured in the new series.
